Under caution (again). Thus far it’s been the Kyle Busch show. There’s some pit stop strategy going on, but he should be back up front shortly.

Busch re-takes the lead before the first green flag lap had finished. Big shock. The announcers are trying to make it sound like Ron Hornaday Jr. has something for him, but I wouldn’t bet on it. Shrub is close to unbeatable in that truck.

Meanwhile, Busch is running away with it.

There actually is some passing going on. Just not up front.

The announcers were talking about Scott Speed going to Toledo for an ARCA race this weekend. So do you think this would be a good time to compare his career now to a couple of years ago… when he was in Formula One? Ah well. Maybe Toledo is better than Turkey.

This just in: Kyle Busch is attempting to bring back old-school stock car racing… by lapping the field. Or at least coming close.

Green flag stops? In trucks?

Wow. They’ve actually made it all the way through green flag stops. And Busch leads Hornaday by “only” 4.6 seconds. Oh the drama.

Hmm… maybe we will have a race. Or not, as Busch has picked it up.

Debris caution. So much for any fuel mileage considerations.

Somewhere along the line I’ve managed to goof the lap count. Oops. Anyway, Busch is doing his best to work his way back up through the field. Erik Darnell currently in the lead with Johnny Benson in pursuit. And how old do you have to be to stop being called Johnny?

They’re going to have to sell a lot of Crocs to fix that truck…

Caution. Looks to be a good fight between Darnell and Benson for the win when action resumes.

This is getting good! Darnell and Matt Crafton now dueling… now Hornaday is in the mix… now he’s going for a spin… now he’s after Todd Bodine… there are going to be some quite interesting post-race interviews tonight.

They should not have black-flagged Benson on that last restart. Yet another interesting post-race interview. Meanwhile, Bodine to the back for his interaction with Hornaday that brought out the caution.

Crafton and Chad McCumbee for the win. Will McCumbee take him out?

Crafton holds off McCumbee for his first ever win in trucks. Good win for him and for the little teams as he gets one for all of the independents.

That was an exciting finish1 Until the Sprint Cup teams get a handle on their new car, the Truck races are going to be the best we see on the intermediate tracks. Good for Crafton! Ten+ years in the series and he finally gets a win. Had to work for it too.
